township meeting was held-- not much to say -- didn't go to well for la interests -- oh well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

reminder

meeting with dingman township to beg for a change in the zoning to allow 12ft. wides in la is scheduled for tonite at 7pm in the township building on fisher road --off log tavern road-- try to attend to show support for this community action

more bod rants

management procedures are questionable!

--bid -- roof bids should have been put out -- emergency repairs could have been done while the bid process was executed -- just poor fiscal management-- do the bod members do this with their own finances - i doubt it -- yes contractor should have cleaned up after the job --
--maintenace departments do very important and good work -- the individuals in these groups generally take pride in what they do-- if there are complaints regarding how this group operates then i think it probably a lack of management and supervisory oversight -- don't blame the workers for management's short comings

bod rants

thoughts about the bod meeting saturday:
--how about gettin a new or better sound system-- ridiculous! -
--25% members not up to date with dues?? that means that 1 out of 4 not paying their way - the rest of us must make up their share -- need to expedite collection of delinquent dues -- perhaps like many governments the suggestion that a collection agency be used may have benefits-- la employees may not be the best way to manage this problem-
--properties are not being maintained by owners-- true -- la management needs to get a little tough on this matter--place is beginning to look shabby-maintenance dept. could be sent to clean up and cut weeds with the cost billed to property owners-if owners get away with these things they will continue being a problem all the way around== not fair to the rest of the community

well i agree that the dolphins need to be congratulated-- but i have a question???????????? are the dolphins a seal hunting group, whale watching group or an advocacy group for people who eat sardines??? help

the rescheduled- rescheduled meeting with dingman township is monday, 20 august at 7pm at the township municipal building --fisher lane - milford -- important 2 attend to show support for la asso. efforts to get a zoning change to allow new 12ft wide trailers -- hope u can attend -- hope there is a meeting this time????????????????

vet - good

had 2 go to the vet to get my dog her medicine that i forgot to bring up la - they worked with my vet at home and as a result i was able to get the medicine the dog needed -- the vet was very cooperative and nice --now i know where i'll go if my dogs need medical treatment while i'm at la

well the weekend was enjoyable -- great weather and quite a few people around -- i can judge the amount of people around when i hear all the dogs barking-- and there were plenty of dogs in my neighborhood-- looks like some nice days coming up thruout this week-- chipper

up upp uppp hopefully with sunny and warm weather -- rain and cold today so i'm ready for sat and sun -- forecast looks good - we'll see---

la day

well the weekend for la days sure looked like a winner-- but on reflection i must say that the many volunteers that help put this affair together should be congratulated-- they gave their time and effort to allow the rest of the members to enjoy this affair-- it was a large group of people for security functions, activity facilitators and monitors, club house guides and assistants, ground crews and the maintenance department, life guards, association board members, and then there are those that have surely missed mentioning -- nice job -- thank you

more quiet

yes today was another fine day at la -- crowds way down from the weekend -- pool was nice and refreshing -- new roof goin on the club house -- bigggg roof - wow

monday --- quiet--real quiet - where did evey1 go -- nice pleasant day though--well went to matamoosa or something like that [-- diner down the street from walmart was pretty good - sort of a surprise-- enuf 4 2nite

weekend

2 == that is 2 great days in la -- was really nice and pleasant == sat was eventful with the sand art, spin art and the tattoo art -- the kids had a blast -- activities were outstanding for the little kids-- well maybe the tattoo thing was more suited for teens - next year the real thing could be offered -- well that might be too much?????????????? but you know it would be interesting if the committee could think about perhaps mountain bike paths, skateboard park, 4 wheeler paths or areas -- these would be things that older kids would enjoy and yes some families have older kids -- even adults would enjoy some of these activities -- natures paths and even some guided tours could be arranged with local arborists who could enlighten us on the local trees and shrubs and etc -- instead of everything aimed for 1 weekend it could be on ongoing schedule thru out the summer -- well jus some thoughts -- any1 else got any

crowds, food, sun, fireworks -- what a great day at la --everyone seemed to be having a great time == where are all these people the rest of the summer -- hope they come back more frequently - it was nice to see them all enjoying themselves -- good job done by all

bang, boom, rain and wind along with very high humidity what a day - everything you could do without--well that's it tomorrow will be perfect for la day -- have fun and enjoy the festivities and the fireworks -- chipper

went to philly yesterday--back today--sure was hot down there-- high humidity and really crappy air quality -- when you get back to la the temps are about the same as down there but sure is less humidity and a lot better here--
drove all the wway up here and didn't see any deer on the road -- sure was glad when i was right down the road from the entrance to la when there was a doe sitting right on the shoulder next to the entrance to la -- almost hit it -- wouldn't that be crazy- - looking at the activity schedule for the weekend-- looks good- well enuf 4 tonight --chipper

well saturday was a banner day and it held thru today -- good weekend

big crowd at the pavilion sat nite -- heard it was a swim team related function -- draws a lot of people -- thought 4 moment it was the sat nite dogfights --na -- i guess the activities committee wouldn't sanction that -- well maybe in the future--
i look forward to this weekend should be a blast -- do they have fireworks??????????

help is needed

well for the second time the meeting with dingman township officials has been canceled and rescheduled-- why not try for christmas eve at 9:30pm -- sounds good to me--- there is a real problem here -- either with the township or this asso. management -- both need to try harder--- i wonder what the excuse is this time-- they're several adjectives that come to mind to describe this situation but i refrain for now in using them
any 1 else find this situation unusual???????????????????????

had an interesting meeting -- various concerns were heard -- it's good to see members involved with the community -- hopefully the concerns will be addressed by the board and management--now the meeting with dingman township officials is rescheduled for tuesday, 31 julyat 7pm at the municipal building. the goal is to get 12ft wide trailers to be permitted at la -- any support from the community should help
