scheduled 4 sat at 10am -- NOVEMBER 17-- it will be attended by a hugh turnout of la asso. members -- yea get real! -- hopefully the next meetin will be during the summer months of 08-- it will be interesting to see how transparent this budget will be -- i suspect about a transparent as a pike county rocks -- we'll see

follow up meetin

talked 2 several people from the la staff (LA manager was off wednesday so i didn't speak 2 him) and i understand the attorneys talked 2 each other and agreed to postpone the meetin ---- no one knew why--- good communications between la management and attorneys???? well the imbecile award goes to both attorneys-- they can determine how they share the prize and who gets the most credit -- after all they are attorneys they are used to applying degrees of guilt -- maybe the next meetin date will be announced unless they have a problem with making a commitment --la management(?) yes i used that word - needs to get a handle on this problem of having public meetins canceled -- if this was their personal business would they be so cooperative with this type of situation -- i doubt it

What the hell will be the excuse now why the meeting with dingman township was canceled-- i met a township supervisor there at 7pm and he said he was told at 5:30 that the meeting was scheduled--- he said the township wouldn't have cancelled the meeting. i will hold off calling anyone an imbecile for tonight but i will talk to the la manager to see who the imbecile or imbeciles are. Hello LACHIPPER!

My husband and I just purchased in Lake Adventure at the beginning of October. We love the community.....we agree that it would be great to have someone pick up the leaves from alongside the road at each site. We've been sweeping the leaves on our property for the past three weekends and we expect to do it again next weekend! Having to drive the leaves down to the collection site is definitely a pain.

We are happy to be part of the LA "family". We've seen numerous turkeys and deer and the chipmunks and birds are lovely to watch! We actually saw a black bear cross 759 about 4 weeks ago! Yikes!!! LOL

We had the opportunity to see the community this past summer and it looked like all were having a grand old time at the pool, beach and in the clubhouse. We look forward to next spring and summer!

well jus got cold -- 32* right now - looks like a real fall night in la -- leaves still fallin-- quite a few still on the trees -- a lot of orange, red and brown -- last week was the height of the fall foliage display -- thought it was one of the best years for color -- really stunning-- halloween weekend now over in la -- good time --

next meeting with dingman boys is 13 november -- 7pm?

Ron -thanks 4 your comment--- the asso. use to collect leaves but stopped this service - i think this was a mistake -- the leaf collection process is difficult enuf without asking people to drive them down to the pile at maint. wrhs.-- they just don't do it because it too hard or they are not able to because they are the more senior members of the community -- a schedule could be developed and a method identified to collect leaves from driveways or street side several times in the fall and spring -- this should get more people to come to la during these cleanups and get the job done-- it also would foster the attitude that taking care of your property is an important function-- plus quite frankly anything that gets people involved with la is beneficial to all members--

I HAVE DECIDED THAT NEXT YEAR I WILL BE RENTING A TRAILER AND WILL BE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO VOLUNTEER ANY ONE WHO WANTS THERE LEAF BAGS P.U.
