more bod rants

management procedures are questionable!

--bid -- roof bids should have been put out -- emergency repairs could have been done while the bid process was executed -- just poor fiscal management-- do the bod members do this with their own finances - i doubt it -- yes contractor should have cleaned up after the job --
--maintenace departments do very important and good work -- the individuals in these groups generally take pride in what they do-- if there are complaints regarding how this group operates then i think it probably a lack of management and supervisory oversight -- don't blame the workers for management's short comings

bod rants

thoughts about the bod meeting saturday:
--how about gettin a new or better sound system-- ridiculous! -
--25% members not up to date with dues?? that means that 1 out of 4 not paying their way - the rest of us must make up their share -- need to expedite collection of delinquent dues -- perhaps like many governments the suggestion that a collection agency be used may have benefits-- la employees may not be the best way to manage this problem-
--properties are not being maintained by owners-- true -- la management needs to get a little tough on this matter--place is beginning to look shabby-maintenance dept. could be sent to clean up and cut weeds with the cost billed to property owners-if owners get away with these things they will continue being a problem all the way around== not fair to the rest of the community
