As far as what i have posted-- you can't be preaching to an empty church-- as the season progresses i will post some things that i hope others will see, read and send me their comments-- pro or con -- there are issues here at la -- the polls that i have taken indicated that some things have gotten others to vote on the isssues they feel are important -- i will shortly begin to comment on some of those past poll findings ----other polls i will repost to see if more people that are at la throughout the summer will vote for their choices-- as always i'd be glad to hear from anyone with their comments -- chipper

IRON PIGS BASEBALL

OPENING HOME GAME WAS YESTERDAY FOR THE IRON PIGS BASEBALL TEAM IN ALLENTOWN. THERE WAS A SELLOUT CROWD AND IT SEEMS EVERYONE LIKED THE NEW STADIUM. THEY LOST. ACTUALLY THEY'VE LOST EVERY GAME SO FAR THIS SEASON. BUT..... THAT GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TOO ........ THE FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON AND YOU COULD BE THERE. HMM.

THIS IS ALSO ANOTHER FAMILY ATTRACTION YOU COULD VISIT FOR A DAY TRIP. YOU COULD TAKE THE KIDS TO SEE THE MASCOT FERROUS (actually the first choice for the mascot name was pork chop-- really... but..... no deal on that name so we get ferrous).

A NEW MUESEUM OPENED TODAY IN
ALLENTOWN:


AMERICA ON WHEELS HAS A COLLECTION OF VEHICLES THAT WERE PART OF THE HISTORY OF TRANSPORTATION THOUGH THE LAST AMERICAN CENTURY. THIS HAS BEEN A PROJECT THAT HAS TAKEN CLOSE TO 20 YEARS TO ACCOMPLISH. THERE ARE VEHICLES FROM HORSELESS CARRIAGES TO RACING LAWN MOWERS AND PEE WEE HERMAN'S BIKE (don't know how this got in there) AS WELL AS A GOOD COLLECTION OF MUSCLE CARS.
