Lake Adventure on Tuesday, February 19, 2008

Hello Everyone!

My husband and I took a drive to Lake Adventure on Tuesday to see how our trailer was holding up during this winter season. Much to our relief.....all was well.....and the snow on the ground added to the beauty of the place. We stayed a while, enjoyed the quiet, had something to eat in the area and came back to observe the place in the moonlight! Light snow was falling and the sky was illuminated by the light of the moon! What a beautiful sight. We marveled at the beauty of nature and enjoyed the absence of sound! We had been greeted by at least 12 deer earlier in the day and now wondered where they had gone and how they were doing.

We look forward to spending our first spring and summer in LA and are planning our next trip back there sometime in early April.



Until then......stay warm, drive safely and think lovely thoughts! We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

    Hey Kathleen, Iam also an owner on forest glenn. This past year we have some new owners on the block and i couldn't be happier. Iam also new to LA as an owner, bought in july 2004. Welcome.

    Thanks so much for your "WELCOME" neighbor! When are you planning on coming back to Lake Adventure this year? We so look forward to watching the deer, the chipmunks and all of the beautiful birds return to the area!

    I think we'll wait until the middle of March before we officially "open up". Looking forward to meeting you.

    hi kathleen - yes i can't wait to get up to la -- this last snow has lasted too long -- i like 1 day blizzards and the next day gone -- hmmm--- i was up a few weeks ago and things looked okay at my place so i hope they stay that way -- hopefully in another week or so and i'll drive up again - when i stay up for a few days maybe we'll meet for a morning coffee at the club house-- i'll let you know -- bob
